Breast

There are several types of surgery performed on the breast, some of them include:

  • Breast Augmentation – can increase fullness and projection of your breasts; improve the balance of your figure and enhance your self-image and self-confidence.
  • Breast Lift – addresses sagging and uneven breasts, decreased breast volume
and drooping nipples, stretched areolas (darker area surrounding nipples) and
recreates a more youthful shape and lift to your breasts.
  • Breast Reduction – the goal of breast reduction surgery is to reduce the size of your breasts and reshape them, so they’re proportionate to the rest of your body, as well as alleviate a source of physical discomfort.
  • Breast Revision – commonly involves removal and/or replacement of saline or silicone gel implants. It’s usually performed to change the sized or type of implants you currently have or correct any complications from your primary breast augmentation.

The first and most important step when deciding to have breast surgery is selecting a surgeon you can trust. Choosing a plastic surgeon that is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and has membership in one or both of the aesthetic societies will ensure you have selected a surgeon who has completed rigorous training and is experienced in all plastic surgery procedures.
